Heritage Center Ceremony honors Haida Culture . . . August 13, 2010
Four Southeast Alaska native carvers created four house posts for the clan house at the Alaska Native Heritage Center's Southeast village site. The posts were installed in ceremonies this week. A grand-opening celbration is scheduled for today. To view photos click here.

Scenic Byways Designation Ribbon Cutting . . . August 5, 2010
Event start at 11:00 am at the intersection of Boundary Road and Klawock-Hollis Highway in the vacant lot. In the event of rain the event will be held in the Klawock School Gym. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share..
