OVK currently manages the maintenance of the road constructed with Bureau of Indian Affairs funding, that runs from just outside of Kasaan to Tolstoi Bay, which is approximately six miles of road. In addition to this service, OVK is currently working with the BIA, Central Council of Tlingit & Haida, U.S. Forest Service, and other Prince of Wales Tribes to develop an Indian Reservation Roads (IRR) Program that will enable OVK to develop a more comprehensive and capable Transportation Department.
